Did you know you can extend and shrink a Nathan Dining table with an inbuilt leaf?
At points you may feel that your dining room table is taking up a lot of space within the room, and you may not need all the table space it offers all of the time. That's where our leaf system tables come in.
Buying one of our tables with a built in leaf allows you to remove it from the centre of the table and push the remaining sides together, minimizing how much space the table takes up within the room. Great for when you need more floor space and less table, or perfect to extend when you need more space on a table for a dinner party.
Is the table hard to switch between having a leaf and not having one?
Absolutely not! Once you move the middle leaf insert from the table, a reciprocal action sliding top allows for an easy retraction of both sides.
What shape of Dining Table is for me?
Unless pressed for space within a room, the choice of table shape is completely up to you and your own personal taste. Some may prefer the most common boat shaped table, where others may go for a slightly gentler oval shape.
If the shape of the room or a shortage of space is going to be an issue why not choose one of the smaller circular designs.
The choice does not stop there. Nathan tables are built using pedestal legs and straight legs, each offering their own quirks and charm.
